Pygmalion (the original, not the stage play)- Isaac Satin

Pygmalion was an artist residing on an island with an odd quirk- he had sworn off women. He eventually made a wonderfully beautiful sculpture and fell in love with it. He began treating the sculpture as a person and became so enamored that he requested the gods to bring his sculpture to life. So they did, because why not? And lived happily ever after...

If I could bring one fictional character to life, it would have to be Miles Morales- or as he's more commonly known, "the black Spider-Man." First of all, Spider-Man being real would just be awesome. But I would also love to see everyone's reactions. See, the community surrounding comics has a very toxic side of it that includes racism, misogyny, and other schools of thought which are generally unpleasant; and what's more is that this sect of the community is incredibly vocal and irritating. Watching them try to cope with the reality that yes, superheroes don't HAVE to be white- that would just be really entertaining, I think.

Bonus gifset: Donald Glover (a rapper, actor, stand up comedian, writer, tapdancer, voice actor, all around talented guy) discusses people's reaction to the campaign surrounding him being Spider-Man in a movie. The feedback he talks about is an excellent example of the toxicity I mentioned earlier.      [WARNING: EXPLICIT]
